Dear Mr. Colbert – I really like your sweater and I like bears, too. Maybe you should spend some time on happier.com so you won’t be so grumpy all the time!

So, when it comes to the topic of happiness, I’ll keep listening to Dr. Seligman, thank you :)

  2. Acacia says:

An ironic stance from someone whose show thousands of people (myself included) watch on a nightly basis to improve their moods through laughter. Colbert’s success is based largely on his ability to evoke positive emotion in others — he’s one of the biggest spreaders of the happiness contagion I know!

  3. Acacia says:

p.s. Pink *really* is not a good look for you, Stephen. And I miss your glasses.

  4. Amanda says:

All hail Colbert Nation! I will never turn on you stephen!

  5. Stephen is harmless. His so-called attack on positivity is a good thing. He calls attention to an important phenomenon which is helping our nation embrace change. The visibility he offers positivity is fantastic. The premise of his show is ridicule even of many positive things in our world.

  6. Levi says:

What should “hapiper.com” do? It’s only too obvious: submit a thorough apology and resign from the web. Happiness is overrated, not to mention unpatriotic given the state of our economy.

  7. Happy says:

We…we get that it’s a joke, right? Like…satire? Because, please, if you don’t, I can not take this site seriously.

  8. doug says:

yes, I think we all understand this is a joke – we were all ‘happy’ to see Mr. Colbert call some attention to this interesting research – and, I got a couple of laughs out of it, as well!

  9. Acacia says:

Indeed, Happy — the irony is what makes him so brilliant! We’re just not as skilled at being satirical as is Stephen Colbert, so it didn’t come across as clearly. ;)

Just try your best in order to be happy. Unhappiness starts with wanting to be happier.Moti weisbrot – מוטי ויסברוט
